On the solemn occasion of the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of Victims of the Holocaust, The Hon. Pierre Poilievre, Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada and the Official Opposition, released a poignant statement reaffirming the commitment to the powerful vow of “Never Again.”

Poilievre’s words echo across the globe as nations pause to reflect on the atrocities committed during Hitler’s reprehensible campaign of genocide. The leader particularly emphasized the collective remembrance of the six million Jews who were systematically imprisoned, tortured, and murdered during the Holocaust. Honoring the survivors, he acknowledged their resilience despite enduring physical and mental wounds that can never be fully healed. The statement also mourned the millions of Jewish families torn apart, never to be reunited.

The staggering statistic that nearly two out of three European Jews fell victim to the Holocaust underscores the unparalleled nature of this crime in human history, characterized by its intense hatred and malice.

Pierre Poilievre did not shy away from highlighting the disturbing reality that antisemitic attitudes persist today. He referenced recent global events, including the worst attack against the Jewish people since the Holocaust, emphasizing that even in Canada, incidents of hate and violence against Jews have occurred. Poilievre unequivocally stated that the plague of antisemitism has not been defeated and called for collective action against this enduring menace.

“We must remain unwavering in our sacred oath of ‘never again,'” declared Poilievre. He urged a collective commitment to standing with Jewish people worldwide as they defend their homeland and way of life. The leader emphasized that the time for “never again” is now, calling on individuals and nations to actively combat antisemitism in all its forms.

It calls on communities, leaders, and nations to unite in a steadfast commitment to ensure that the atrocities of the past are never repeated. The Conservative leader’s words underscore the importance of collective vigilance, education, and activism to eradicate the scourge of antisemitism and foster a world where “never again” becomes an enduring reality.

We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.
