As the world watches in shock and disbelief, we find ourselves in the 11th day of conflict in Gaza, a continuation of the brutal events that unfolded in Israeli communities along the Gaza border. The horrors of October 7th, when the Hamas-controlled region descended into unprecedented violence, continue to haunt the global community.

ZAKA, the renowned emergency response and rescue team, took a remarkable step by broadcasting the first live accounts of Israeli civilians on an international platform. Their message was clear: the world needed to hear the unfiltered narratives of eyewitnesses. Over 60 reporters from major global media networks were invited to bear witness to these chilling accounts, delivered in English, French, and Spanish.

The eyewitnesses recounted the atrocities they had seen, a narrative that would challenge the most hardened hearts. They spoke of how Hamas terrorists executed these unimaginable acts of violence, including the torture of children and infants. Women faced sexual assault before they met their horrific ends—either shot execution-style or burned alive. Shockingly, some accounts reveal that maps and detailed plans were discovered at these gruesome sites.

The grim testimonials were described by some as “worse than the Holocaust.” Journalists who have covered wars and atrocities worldwide were shaken to their core. Matt Frei from Channel 4 News expressed, “It was the most difficult thing I have ever heard in my entire journalistic career.”

Bearing witness to such horrors is a solemn task, one that weighs heavy on the hearts and minds of those who feel compelled to share these stories with the world. It is a responsibility that few could ever anticipate, but it is an essential part of acknowledging the suffering of countless innocent people.

The horrors of October 7th were not limited to any one group. This atrocity transcended borders, affecting individuals from 43 different nationalities, including Muslim-Palestinian Arabs. Innocent lives were shattered, and their voices must not be silenced.

However, the immediate response to these revelations has been troubling. A global campaign is already underway to deny and downplay these crimes against humanity. Some have attempted to attribute these acts to the war in Gaza, where Hamas intentionally uses its civilian population as human shields, in clear violation of international law. This not only constitutes a double war crime but also epitomizes evil at its core.

The day I became a secondary witness to the October 7th Hamas massacres will forever be etched in my memory. We must remember and honor the lives lost in this horrific event. More importantly, we must call for justice, accountability, and an end to this cycle of violence. Only then can we hope for a brighter, more peaceful future for the people living in this troubled region.

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.
