In a dynamic move towards fostering unity, the Stronger Together event is on the horizon, and its planning committee is thrilled to unveil significant updates. This upcoming half-day event is meticulously designed to channel its energy into specific objectives that will benefit not only the Jewish community but also its allies. Going beyond mere understanding, the event is geared towards inspiring actionable steps against the scourge of Jew hatred and other forms of injustice. What’s more, this collective gathering stands in solidarity with the people of Iran as they strive for freedom while pursuing mutual goals.

Stronger Together: Building Allies to #EndJewHatred is on course for September 10th, 2023, at the revered BAYT (Beit Avraham Yoseph Toronto) from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The event has taken an unprecedented step by offering all tickets completely free of charge, underscoring the emphasis on inclusivity. The keynote address for the day will be delivered by none other than Brooke Goldstein, the visionary founder behind The Lawfare Project and the End Jew Hatred Movement. Brooke brings to the podium insights and strategies from her forthcoming book, End Jew Hatred: A Manual for Mobilization, slated for release on April 16, 2024. Her presentation promises to be an empowering guide for attendees, offering actionable ways to drive impactful change.

At the heart of this collaborative event lies a resolute commitment to address issues of injustice and discrimination head-on. The aim is to establish a robust foundation for actionable initiatives that will make significant strides towards the following objectives:

  1. Guiding Definition for Antisemitism: A directive from the Ministry of Education to all Ontario school boards, mandating the use of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance Non-Legally Binding Working Definition of Antisemitism. This definition will serve as a compass in identifying instances of Jew hatred and will include mechanisms to impose consequences for educators or institutions that seek to delegitimize the democratic Jewish State of Israel.
  2. Terror Designation: The official designation by the Canadian government of the entire Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, sending a strong message against those that perpetrate acts of violence and terrorism.
  3. Countering Antisemitic Rallies: An end to the yearly antisemitic Al Quds Day Rally on Canadian streets, emphasizing the need to eradicate platforms that promote hatred and discrimination.
  4. Educational Reform: Policies and procedures to make it an offense for educational institutions to employ individuals who hold prejudicial and discriminatory attitudes. Additionally, all training in racism and discrimination should be comprehensive, addressing all forms of discrimination and prioritizing none over the other.

Thank you for choosing TheJ.Ca as your source for Canadian Jewish News.

We do news differently!

Our positioning as a Zionist News Media platform sets us apart from the rest. While other Canadian Jewish media are advocating increasingly biased progressive political and social agendas, TheJ.Ca is providing more and more readers with a welcome alternative and an ideological home.

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your HELP!

Our ability to thrive and grow in 2020 and beyond depends on the generosity of committed readers and supporters like you.

Monthly support is a great way to help us sustain our operations. We greatly appreciate any contributions you can make to support Jewish Journalism.

We thank you for your ongoing support.
