According to a recent study conducted by the Pew Research Center, a significant majority of Israelis hold a positive view of the United States, with 87% expressing favorable opinions. This marks the highest level of positivity towards America in Israel since the year 2000. The study also highlights that Israel ranks second globally in terms of positive attitudes towards the United States, with only Poland ranking higher.

Among the 23 countries surveyed, Israel’s positive sentiment towards the United States stands out, with only 12% of Israelis holding negative opinions. Poland leads the chart with an impressive 93% of its population having favorable views. Hungary recorded the lowest level of positivity at 44%, while the median across all surveyed countries is 59%.

Noteworthy outliers include Australia, where 52% of the population holds a positive view of the United States, and South Korea, with 79% expressing favorable opinions. These variations illustrate the diversity of global attitudes towards America.

Acting Consul General of Israel in New York, Israel Nitzan, shared the positive findings on social media, highlighting that Israel’s current view of the United States is the most positive it has been since 2000. The strong relationship between the two countries is evident, reflecting the close ties and shared interests they have cultivated over the years.
