After assigning a TV crew in the Jerusalem Shuafat UNRWA refugee camp over the past two months, we now possesses unseen and unedited shocking footage which we will consolidate and produce in the form of a new movie for UNRWA donors – with English Hebrew, German, Swedish and Arabic subtitles.

Here are reasons why you should help support our production:

1. There has been a massive increase in the Shuafat population since our 2019 movie. The camp was designed to accommodate 18,000 residents, yet 60,000 individuals now reside there. More than 80% of the Shuafat population are unregistered.

2. Interview with a Shuafat engineer – There are new 14story buildings without proper design that can collapse at any moment. *In the event of such a catastrophe, Israel would be held to blame, since Shuafat is the one UNRWA facility located inside sovereign Israeli territory.

3. Shuafat residents no longer pay property taxes. The camp’s electricity and water are now  supplied at no cost by Israel.

4. There is no noticeable law enforcement in Shuafat.

5. Two years after a massive overhaul of sanitary conditions, garbage is evident everywhere in Shuafat.
6. Children at the Shuafat youth club, financed by the UAE, speak incessantly about the right to take up arms to liberate villages lost in 1948 and replaced by the cities of Ramle, Lod and Tel Aviv.
7. Heads of the Fatah in Shuafat openly incite children to violence.
8. Fences and walls in Shufat schools and youth club are dominated by violent graffiti.
9. While the crew was filming, Shuafat residents fired automatic weapons into a nearby Jewish neighborhood, wounding a seven-year-old girl.

The new UNRWA movie, filmed on location by Arab TV crew, takes the viewer inside Shuafat, portraying what has become a teeming slum of more than 60,000 people, only 80% of whom are registered with UNRWA. The proximity of the camp to the heart of Jerusalem which is bustling with Arab employment   opportunities attracts a new population, as does the incentive of nominal property tax, no fees for electricity and water, and hundreds of new high rise cheap apartments.

However, what the movie will show is the continued squalid conditions of Shuafat, the armed terror groups who wander freely, the celebrations at the news of armed attacks of Jews nearby … and the foundations of the new Shuafat buildings built on sand- with no real foundations.

The Shuafat engineer warned the film crew that the slightest earth tremor could cause the new apartment buildings to collapse like a deck of cards. And Israel will be blamed.

Thank you for choosing TheJ.Ca as your source for Canadian Jewish News.

We do news differently!

Our positioning as a Zionist News Media platform sets us apart from the rest. While other Canadian Jewish media are advocating increasingly biased progressive political and social agendas, TheJ.Ca is providing more and more readers with a welcome alternative and an ideological home.

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your HELP!

Our ability to thrive and grow in 2020 and beyond depends on the generosity of committed readers and supporters like you.

Monthly support is a great way to help us sustain our operations. We greatly appreciate any contributions you can make to support Jewish Journalism.

We thank you for your ongoing support.
