In the eyes of many, the recent visit of US President Joe Biden to Israel and Saudi Arabia was designed in order to improve the relationship between the United States and both countries. Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid called the visit “historic,” and Israeli President Isaac Herzog compared Biden to the biblical Joseph “on a journey of peace from Israel to Saudi Arabia, from the Holy Land to the Hejaz.” Yet, did this really indeed happen?
On the surface, some positive things did come out of the trip. President Biden visited Yad Vashem, where he met and attentively listened to two Holocaust survivors and left the following note: “It is a great honor to be back — back to my emotional home — we must never, ever, forget because hate is never defeated — it only hides. We must teach every succeeding generation that it can happen again unless we remember. That is what I teach my children and grandchildren. Never forget. Joe Biden.”
During the visit, Biden also signed the Jerusalem Declaration, where he proclaimed: “The United States stresses that integral to this pledge is the commitment never to allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon, and that it is prepared to use all elements of its national power to ensure that outcome.”
According to the Jerusalem Declaration, “The United States further affirms the commitment to work together with other partners to confront Iran’s aggression and destabilizing activities, whether advanced directly or through proxies and terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.”
Ken Abramowitz, the founder of Save the West and author of the Multi-Front War, also added: “Recently, America gave an extra billion dollars for Iron Dome. The body language was excellent between the president and different government officials. They were told not to shake hands due to Covid. Biden saw Netanyahu and he purposely reached over several people to shake hands with Netanyahu and said, ‘Bibi, you know I love you.’ Lapid was trying to shield Biden from Netanyahu, but he failed.”
Yet at the same time, during Biden’s visit to East Jerusalem, he visited an Arab hospital and abandoned Israeli security personnel. There, he made it clear that he supported a two-state solution to the conflict and displayed sympathy for the Palestinian cause:
“My background and the background of my family is Irish America, and we have a long history of … not fundamentally unlike the Palestinian people with Great Britain and their attitude toward Irish-Catholics over the years, for 400 years.”
However, only Biden is committed to a two-state solution, where the Palestinian Authority would become a state and peacefully coexist next to Israel. In the eyes of the Palestinians, Biden is weak and they have zero confidence in him.

As Former Palestinian cabinet member Hassan Asfour proclaimed, “(Biden) is a president incapable of opening a consulate, incapable of opening an office [for the Palestinian Authority] in Washington, incapable of removing the PLO from the terrorist list, incapable of restoring your aid… I am talking about financial aid, not about humanitarian aid to hospitals. By the way, people should not be led astray. When he was talking about aid to the Palestinian Authority, he was not talking about supporting the Palestinian Authority’s budget, because they have suspicions about it. He talked about humanitarian aid to the Palestinian Authority – hospitals and other things that are not related to the Palestinian Authority’s budget. Furthermore, this president is incapable of meeting the family of Shireen Abu Akleh – who had an American passport – in Jerusalem. He told them to come to Washington.”
Meanwhile, many people in Israel were not happy that Biden is still insisting upon a two-state solution and giving it priority. Prominent Middle East scholar Dr. Mordechai Kedar declared: “His visit to Israel was I would say a success from his point of view for he subjected Israel to his plans. Israel does not do anything without America. Lapid and Gantz essentially stole the state. America forced Israel to cut its cyber abilities dramatically. The cyber combat companies closed and Israel cut its cyber ties with over 100 countries and remained with only 30. This was because the Americans demanded that cyber warfare was against human rights.
“Personally, Biden is with us,” Keder stated. “He still remembers the Holocaust and everything, but his administration is wicked. For them, Israel has to be weak without influence and to leave everything to the United States of America. Israel has to deal with the Palestinian issue before all else.”

Ayoob Kara, who served as Israel’s Communication, Cyber and Satellite Minister, stated: “I think that all of the messages that has come with the visit of Biden for a two-state is the solution give a motivation to the terror and Islamization. The people must know that the problem is not the lack of a state or land. It is about culture, religion and education. People must agree that for now, the solution is to cooperate with all of the Arab areas and then find a solution for the Palestinian issue whose solution is not in Judea and Samaria.”
Interesting, yesterday, there was a terror attack in Jerusalem, right after Biden came here promoting a two-state solution.
Furthermore, Kara believes Biden has actually sabotaged the Abraham Accords with all of his attacks upon Saudi Arabia, supposedly for killing a journalist in 2018, while continuing to seek a nuclear deal with Iran, who has a much worse human rights record.
According to MEMRI, the editor of the Saudi daily Arab News Faisal Abbas proclaimed that it was Biden who was at fault for sabotaging American-Saudi relations: “On Yemen, for example, the current administration’s initial policy was to disengage, delist the Iran-backed Houthis as terrorists and withdraw Patriot missile batteries from the Kingdom while Saudi civilians and oil infrastructure were being attacked — civilians, let us not forget, in a country that Biden in his own column describes as a ‘strategic partner for 80 years,’ and oil facilities that were targeted at a time when global energy prices were at an all-time high.” He claimed that his visit to the kingdom was merely an attempt to restore what should have been all along.
