It was recently reported that four Iranian ships were spotted in the Red Sea, thus signifying the most significant Iranian military activity in the area recently. This came after Palestinian gunmen opened fire on Jewish worshippers at Joseph’s Tomb, and Hezbollah launching three drones towards Israeli gas rigs in the Mediterranean.  All of these incidents occurred the second Yair Lapid was sworn in as Prime Minister – and it is no coincidence.

The great British Prime Minister Winston Churchill once said, “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.” Unfortunately for the State of Israel, our new Prime Minister Yair Lapid is the champion of appeasers.

Despite all of these increased terror threats leading up to a visit of the US President in the State of Israel, the Yair Lapid government is lessoning travel restrictions upon the Palestinians.  He is traveling to France and giving hope to others that he will make concessions on Israel’s fundamental security needs.

He did this even though polls conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research consistently show that Hamas is gaining in popularity in the Palestinian Authority.

According to a June 2022 poll, if elections for the position of PA chairman were held, Hamas would get 55% of the vote and Mahmoud Abbas only 33%. He did poorly even though within a six-week period in April and May of this year, 19 Israelis were murdered in seven separate terror attacks and this happened not too long ago.

And now, with us in the middle of an election and Lapid taking charge, Israel’s enemies will be even more emboldened to wage terror against us and to incite against the State of Israel. One must ask oneself critically, can our nation’s security survive if Yair Lapid remains as Prime Minister beyond four months? Will these four months destroy the dreams of this wonderful country’s forefathers to build a national home for the Jewish people in the Land of Milk and Honey?

For a long time, the people of the State of Israel did not understand that if you do not save Joseph’s Tomb and do not bar Hezbollah and Iran from threatening us along our borders, then you also cannot save the Western Wall, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa. If you do not fight against crime in the Arab sector and in Judea and Samaria, then it will come home to roost.

So, the important issue now is that this government does not have the power to control the defense and security of Israel because they do not have the power to do anything to help our security in the coalition.

Due to the entire government depending on a party like Ra’am, under Bennett, they could not do anything to defend Israel, as Mansour Abbas always vetoed everything. So, the government froze any activity related to our security for a year. Nothing happened for Israel’s security during this time.  And then, we got a Prime Minister who is even more constrained than Bennett was.

What happened in the Red Sea, at Joseph’s Tomb and at the Israeli gas rigs is very symbolic of what has happened to our beautiful country when appeasers take over the government.

Yair Lapid is the greatest joke in Israel’s political history from the time of Israel’s Independence till now. I cannot accept a leader who did not study in university and did not do combat service in the IDF to serve as Prime Minister. I could accept him if he studied in the university at least, even if he did not do combat service in the IDF, but I cannot accept that he did not do both.

To make matters even worse, he likes to roll off at the mouth as if he were an expert, instead of sitting back and consulting experts, and acting based upon their advice, like any sane person who was working a job that they were not qualified to do would likely do.

For this reason, having Yair Lapid as Prime Minister does not give us any benefit. I fear that in these four months, he will destroy the security of Israel. And for this reason, I call upon all voters to come out to vote in the elections to save our beautiful country from a grave disaster.

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.
