The traditional Christmas mass and prayers will still take place, but without Christmas trees or festive lights.
The root of all modern-day evils for the new left is colonialism, and Israel is, they claim, a colonialist power.
Will we sell our souls to claim the moral high ground?
“This is in fact the actualization of a globalized intifada through violence,” said the president of Federation CJA of the sharp spike in antisemitism since Oct. 7.
“We knew there was an urgent need to replace ambulances that were stolen and destroyed. To know ours is part of this historic effort is incredibly gratifying,” said Pastor Larry Huch.

Both sides of the ruling Trudeau coalition parroted antisemitic Hamas disinformation about their Temple Mount terrorist attack last week.
Liberal cabinet ministers and MP’s repeated without a critical thought Islamist allegations that Israel ‘attacked peaceful worshippers’, violating their ‘human rights’, and condemned so-called “far-right extremist views that embolden these attacks.”
Roughly 300 Islamists armed with stones and explosives started to riot at the Mughrabi Gate, preventing 80,000 peaceful Muslims from Ramadan prayer. USA Today reported: “Israeli authorities said that before the violence broke out, they had negotiated with Muslim leaders to ensure calm… Palestinian witnesses, who spoke on condition of anonymity out of security concerns, said a small group of Palestinians threw rocks at police, who then entered the compound in force, setting off a wider conflagration. Palestinians view any large deployment of police at Al-Aqsa as a provocation.”
Avi Mayer set out the facts behind last Friday’s riot on his Twitter feed:
To be clear: Israeli police entered the Temple Mount *after* hundreds of Palestinians stockpiled rocks and other weapons inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, using them to attack police and Jewish worshipers at the Western Wall below. Any item that leaves out these facts is lying by omission.
By that standard, a number of members of Parliament fail the honesty test.
Dr Einat Wilfe explained that “Mobilizing the overwhelming number of Arabs and Muslims against Israel is essential to Palestinian program to undo the Jewish state. As Israel is increasingly accepted in the region by Arab and Muslim countries the ‘Al-Aksa is in danger’ libel is necessary to halt this dynamic.”
Of the members of the Justin Trudeau government whose anti-Israel comments were brought to our attention, only Transport Minister Omar Alghambra (Mississauga Centre) even pretended to hint Israel was not solely responsible, posting on Facebook “Violence inside the Al-Aqsa mosque especially during a holy period is extremely upsetting and is unacceptable.”
Iqra Khalid, the MP from Mississauga-Erin Mills who was demoted from cabinet, led off her word salad with a distinctly one sided position: “It is horrifying to be attacked in a place of worship, especially at such a holy time for so many faiths across the world”
However their colleague Jenna Sudds (Kanata—Carleton), went full-bore into the approved Hamas narrative.
The Parliamentary Secretary for Women, Gender Equality, and Youth, Sudds tweeted on April 15 that “Palestinians have a right to worship in peace and safety, a human right which was provocatively violated by Israeli forces during today’s raid on #AlAqsa Mosque. I condemn this recurring aggression by Israeli forces—as well as the far-right extremist views which fuel these hateful actions.”
Pivoting to pandering to voters, she concluded, “This holy month is a time of peaceful prayer for Christians, Jews, and Muslims—a time we must celebrate in unity. To the Muslim community: I stand with you and I share in your pain.”
Islamist groups immediately hoisted her twisted comments into their meme machines to spread her useful idiocy worldwide.

Following from the same playbook as Sudds was Adam van Koeverden (Milton), a former Canadian Olympic Kayaker. “It is unacceptable that Muslim Palestinian worshipers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem are once again being attacked during the holy month of Ramadan… I condemn the violence, and the far-right extremist views that embolden these attacks.”
Arielle Kayabaga (LondonWest) got a little bolder in her anti-Israel distortions: “As we celebrate #passover and #GoodFriday, I’m disturbed that 152 Palestinians have been harmed through this attack in Al-Aqsa during a holy month / day and that is unacceptable! #Palestinians deserve better! Thank you @melaniejoly for speaking up.”
Sameer Zuberi (Pierrefonds-Dollard), who played a role in the antisemitic Netanyahu riot at Concordia University in 2002, tweeted, “I’m deeply concerned about violence occurring in Jerusalem’s Aqsa mosque. Use of excessive force by Israeli police is not in the interests of peace for both Israelis & Palestinians.”
“… violence has been brought to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem as innocent Muslim worshipers were trying to pray and practise their faith in peace,” claimed Salma Zahid (Scarborough Centre). “I call on the Government of Canada to speak out against the violence in Al-Asqa spurred by this police action and condemn these incursions into the Al-Aqsa compound. If Canada is to consider itself a champion of global Human Rights, it cannot ignore the repeated human rights violations suffered by the people of Palestine.
Another Liberal backbench MP got a significant rebuke when she took to Facebook to state “I’m gravely concerned with violence occurring in, and around Masjid al-Aqsa.” Jennifer O’Connell (Pickering-Uxbridge) then claimed “Excessive force used by the Israeli police is unacceptable and takes us further away from peace.”
One voter opened his response to her with, “Your comment is dishonest, to say the least.”

Shlomo Sharer of Toronto went further:
“It promotes and propagates antisemetic tropes that are age-old and no less false and malicious today as they were in the Middle Ages. By now, you should already have been made aware that the real story is the Hamas has been inciting, as it has every Ramadan of the past years, Palestinians to gather on the Temple Mount to “protect” Al Aqsa from the “invading Jewish horde” that is conspiring to come and desecrate the Mosque.”
He explained to the MP, “The story that Hamas put out is that “the Jews “are setting out to make a sacrifice on the grounds of the mosque and that such sacrifice is a desecration of the mosque and a violation of a status quo agreement. It was implied by Hamas that the State of Israel is supporting such action, if not initiating it. That Hamas propaganda is an outright lie. It was a lie when it was used to instigate a war, last Ramadan. And it is a lie, today. This libel has been going on since the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem has promoted this idea and has new life breathed into the old lie in the propaganda machines if Iran and other Islamist states. Now, it is a lie and a libel that you are personally inflaming… Your comment neglected to acknowledge and respect that truth and has caused a continuation of hate mongering. I urge you to take rapid, responsible and fair action to remediate the wrong.”
As for the NDP, partners in the Trudeau coalition agreement until 2025, NDP MP Heather McPherson (Edmonton Strathcona) used her Twitter account to call the police response “The invasion of Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem” saying “(it is) an affront to the sanctity of religious spaces and must stop! I deeply condemn the violence that has led to more than 150 Palestinians and 3 Israeli officers injured and call for peace.”
But she was not alone in paddling around in the pool of NDP caucus antisemitism.
“On April 19, Alexandre Boulerice, Deputy Leader of the NDP, posted a message to his 29,000 Facebook followers in French”, discovered Honest Reporting Canada.
Boulerice claimed in his message that: “Israeli forces were “attacking” innocent Muslims and the Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan, to rid “Jerusalem of its Muslim and Christian heritage” and to “clear space” for alleged Jewish extremist groups to move into what he regards as “Palestine,” but is actually sovereign Israeli territory and Israel’s capital city.”
The independent grass-roots organization went on to state that “the centuries-old lie that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is under attack is a modern blood libel that has the potential to fan the flames of antisemitism against Canada’s 400,000+ Jews. Please contact NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh and call on him to issue an apology and to retract Deputy Leader Boulerice’s comments.”
