Many people have probably heard the name Jerusalem Jane, a brave girl from Denmark whose voice and activities in sympathy with Israel and confronting the propaganda against it was covered by many media outlets all over the world. Jane grew up in a Christian family, yet some of her relatives helped Jewish people during the Holocaust. In other words, being a righteous gentile runs in her family.

In an exclusive interview, she explained how she ended up in Israel: “I met the mother of a girl killed in a terror attack. I stood up against Yasser Arafat when he was welcomed in Denmark with the red carpet, a cold-blooded terrorist with so much Jewish blood on his hands.  So, considering my deep love for Israel and the Jewish people, I felt a calling leading me to Israel and that I have a destiny to speak up for Israel. Becoming Jerusalem Jane led to me reaching the entire world on all my social media platforms.”

She emphasizes that one important factor encouraging her to stand with Israel was to show the reality on the ground and to reveal the propaganda propagated by media outlets in the West: “The propaganda against the IDF is especially awful when the truth is this army is one of the most moral armies in the world. They never target civilians; they go after terrorists and those who attack Israel. Especially before they attack Gaza, they are giving warnings to civilians to get away. What other army does that?”

Jane also recounted that her activities are not so safe, as her life has been threatened: “After I started making videos of Muslims harassing the Jewish people on the Temple Mount, all of a sudden, I was being followed around in the Old City and on the Temple Mount and photos were sent to me telling me, ‘we know who you are and what you are doing, leave our Aqsa in peace.’ It was very unpleasant.”

“After several visits on the Temple Mount, where I made more videos and was removed four times, Arab news sites shared my videos and wrote articles about me, leading to calls to kill me,” she added. “I still receive nasty comments online, but I don’t really feel intimidated. There might be certain areas where it would not be wise for me to go should I be recognized. I try to use caution every day. Of course, with the latest war with Hamas, where I was very active and vocal in sharing news every day, I got a lot of new followers and the attention I received was not always friendly.” Her Instagram account is at jerusalem_jane and her website is jerusalemjane.com.

Nevertheless, Jerusalem Jane noted that she will continue to stand with Israel without fearing what will happen. She emphasized the role of Western media in spreading propaganda.

“For any media outlet, it’s to show the facts and what is really going on. Just one example, most of the mainstream media only started sharing the situation in Israel and Gaza when Israel retaliated after hundreds of rockets had been fired into Israel from terrorists inside Gaza.”

Continuing with the war between Israel and Hamas, she added: ”Rockets have been fired into Israel for years, alongside incendiary kites and inflammable balloons setting Israel on fire.  There was terror attack after terror attack. We saw Jewish people being lynched in the street, stabbed, shot, beaten but mainstream media was only focused on the civilians inside Gaza and calls for Israel to show restraint when a terror organization fired more than 4000 rockets in 11 days. Hamas are using their own people as human shields, and there was mainstream media reporting from around Israel when rockets were flying in, going to the places where these rockets hit, houses, schools and kindergartens.”

Jerusalem Jane believes that when Hamas and other terrorist groups have family members being treated in Israeli hospitals, getting the best treatment possible while they are screaming about Israel being an apartheid state, “it’s pathetic.” She then continued, “Israel is a great country and the Israelis are always out and about in the world helping when disasters occur. They just want to live in peace like everyone else.”

“When will the world listen to the cry of a Jewish mother burying her child,” she pondered. “Mainstream media has lost their moral compass.”

An independent pro-Israel blogger and video journalist, “Jerusalem Jane” explains to supporters that she left behind everything in Denmark to promote telling the truth about Israel with her work.

She is certain she is not alone in this way of thinking: “There are so many wonderful people in Europe who support Israel, and for that I’m very grateful. In the latest war with Hamas, we saw all over the world hundreds of thousands of people in the street screaming ‘death to the Jews, to liberate Palestine from the river to the sea’ which means the eradication of the Jewish people” and she has an advice for those people: “Jews were being attacked not only in Israel but all over the world. It’s a deep hatred we have seen down through history, so I really encourage people around the world to be even more active in their support for Israel.”

She spoke about Israel as the Holy Land and continued: ”Israel has the most amazing history.

We read it every time we open our Bibles. This is a place where the world meets and comes together, proclaiming liberty for all.”

She knows Israel is a true democracy and says proof of that is four elections in two years while the P.A. didn’t have any election in more than ten years. “It’s been an honor and privilege to live in Israel for the past several years, standing with Israel, in what many times feels like a hurricane of attacks, lies and BDS, especially after the last war, “ she stated. “At the end of the day, there is no place like the Holy Land, my life is forever changed and I’m so grateful.”
