In an exclusive interview, Shipan Kumer Basu, who heads the World Hindu Struggle Committee, stressed that Hindus across the globe are greatly pleased that Israeli President Reuven Rivlin gave Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the mandate to attempt to form the next Israeli government first.
“All of the persecuted Hindu people of Bangladesh wish that Netanyahu will stay in power,” he told TheJ.ca. “Hindus across the world wish Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the best of luck in forming the next government.”
“We know that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is working tirelessly to establish world peace. He has already established diplomatic relations with four countries in the Arab world, with more likely on the way, “ noted Basu. “This plays an important role in establishing world peace and advancing economic cooperation across the region. Prime Minister Netanyahu has an uncanny resemblance to the late British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, possessing unique and charismatic leadership traits that win over hearts and minds across many nations.”
Basu urged all of the political parties in Israel to support Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister: “Peace has never been established through violence or hostility. Negotiation is a precondition for establishing peace. Netanyahu has the efficiency to establish peace through negotiations. I believe that he will be able to establish your beloved country Israel as the strongest state in the world and to contribute to further enhancing Israel’s glory in the world.”
According to Basu, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been a critical voice supporting oppressed nations in the world, which was best demonstrated by his support for Kurdistan’s Independence Referendum and his staunch support of Iranian protesters fighting against the mullah’s regime.
“The Hindus of Bangladesh think that if he stays in power, he will play a leading role in establishing and protecting the rights of Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s minorities have seen Benjamin Netanyahu work to establish the rights of minorities around the world. That is why the minorities of Bangladesh are constantly praying that Netanyahu will be able to stay in power for the rest of his life with the love of the people of Israel.”
Basu explained that the minorities in Bangladesh have suffered gravely under the Sheikh Hasina government: “Hefazat-e-Islam, an extremist and communal organization, is indulging in violence against Hindus across the country over the participation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Bangladesh’s 50th Independence Day. In the wake of Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh, Hefazat-e-Islam activists have tortured at least 20-25 Hindus in different districts of the country last month,” he said, citing how Hefazat-e-Islam activists attacked Noagaon village in Shalla, Sunamganj district on March 17, vandalizing more than 500 Hindu houses and looting extensively.
“Their attack destroyed 12-13 temples. Though news of the involvement of government party leaders and activists in the attack was spread in various media outlets, no action has been taken so far. Despite allegations of involvement of the ruling party in such incidents, Sheikh Hasina and her party administration have remained silent like their predecessors were.”

“I urge all peace-loving heads of state, including Israel, India, and the United States, to establish a completely new, democratic, and non-communal government with the goal of building a new Bangladesh as soon as possible by removing Sheikh Hasina from power,” Basu stressed. “It will be good for the people of the country. I assure you that the people of Bangladesh are counting the days in hope that Sheikh Hasina’s government will be overthrown.”
According to Basu, there are many prominent voices in Bangladesh calling upon their country to also establish diplomatic relations with Israel. “The people of Bangladesh believe that they will benefit greatly if diplomatic relations is established with Israel because Israel is one of the world’s most powerful countries.”
Among the benefits he anticipates is that “Israel is also technologically advanced. By establishing relations with Israel, it will be possible to further improve the quality of medical services in Bangladesh. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the minorities in Bangladesh are yearning for Israeli medical technology.”
On behalf of the World Hindu Struggle Committee, Basu paid tribute to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and is praying that he will be successful in forming the next Israeli government: “I want the persecuted Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh to have their dreams come true under the next term of Netanyahu.”

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.
