O’Toole foreign policy shift must put action into words
A Conservative Party of Canada source revealed to the media the party’s intention to shift its foreign policy agenda towards a “morality-based foreign posture.” The plan, if sincere, carries many connotations that would appeal to religious groups and human rights organizations hoping that the government-in-waiting could be shepherded into major decisions on key issues from abortion to euthanasia. It might introduce the kind of leadership Canadians desperately unhappy with the Trudeau regime might welcome.
Leader Erin O’Toole condemned the wasted opportunities for Canadian workers and the agricultural industry because of the ongoing trade war with China. He attacked the lack of shame of the Trudeau Liberal government in seeking to attract more business with the same communist regime holding two of our citizens and crushing Hong Kong pro-democracy protests. The Trudeau government is actively soliciting China’s firms to bid for the contract to renovate Canada’s Beijing embassy.
Whatever the Conservative Party intends for this “reset,” they must put actions to words. They must show how they will court new trade relations with other democracies. They must devise a plan to disentangle us from relations with dangerous and untrustworthy states. They must present a plan that protects Canadians from hostile powers and ensures our cooperation with our allies. Only then will Canada regain its global footing.

A hat trick and more in diversity for the Green Party
The Federal Green Party just elected a new leader named Annamie Paul. She is Black, young, bright and Jewish.
Better still, she beat another leadership candidate Dimitri Lascaris, a lawyer, formerly associated with the IJV crowd to which he added his Independent Greek Voice, and has been branded an antisemite.
For the sake of Canada and that of our young and future descendants, Canadians, regardless of their party affiliation ought to wish her great success in her leadership position to increase the representation of the party in Parliament, to advocate the greening of Canada with inspired and creative ideas, policies and achievements and in the process give our Prime Minister, a run for his money on environmental issues.
All Canadians stand to gain for so wishing, as all Canadians, regardless of the political affiliations stand to gain from Annamie Paul’s success.

Azerbaijan, Jews, and Israel
I’m writing this email to thank you for your scrupulous coverage of the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia that erupted three weeks ago.
The stories you’ve run have shed a light on the essence of the conflict, which is the quest of the Azerbaijani people to restore the territorial integrity of their country. The people of Azerbaijan have been suffering the effects of the Armenian occupation for more close to three decades, with 1/5 of their territory occupied and 800,000 Azerbaijanis forced to leave their lands.
You’ve also covered a unique angle in your stories about the Jewish people in Azerbaijan, which I believe is definitely helping to build bridges with the Canadian Jewish organizations and a stronger bond with Israelis living in Canada.
Thank you again for your continued interest in the matter.
Sincerely,
Ismayil Alakbarov

Thank you for choosing TheJ.Ca as your source for Canadian Jewish News.
We do news differently!
Our positioning as a Zionist News Media platform sets us apart from the rest. While other Canadian Jewish media are advocating increasingly biased progressive political and social agendas, TheJ.Ca is providing more and more readers with a welcome alternative and an ideological home.
We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your HELP!
Our ability to thrive and grow in 2020 and beyond depends on the generosity of committed readers and supporters like you.
Monthly support is a great way to help us sustain our operations. We greatly appreciate any contributions you can make to support Jewish Journalism.
We thank you for your ongoing support.
