Taking up a dare from antisemites on Facebook, the Jewish Defence League showed up outside the Toronto headquarters of a neo-Nazi organization on Thursday.

When the question was posed in a group post whether Meir Weinstein, leader of the JDL, would confront Canadian Nationalist Party leader Travis Patron the same way he has challenged the antisemitic Foodbenders restaurant in Toronto. Patron himself responded “I don’t think he is brave enough“.

As Patron lives in Saskatchewan, Weinstein along with 10 members of JDL took up the challenge by seeking out the home of Patron’s proxy in Ontario, Gus Stefanis.

In a live video posted to Facebook Thursday afternoon, Weinstein, standing in front of Stefanis house declared,

“We know who they are, we know where they live, we aren’t backing down”.

In July Patron was front and centre on CNP fliers titled “Beware The Parasitic Tribe”. The fliers went on to say, “The people we speak of are not truly ‘Jews’. They are liars and deceivers attempting to shield themselves from criticism using a false identity. Let us be aware and expose them for what they are: a tribe of parasites.”

In an accompanying video, Patron refers to “these people” who “infiltrate the media, they hijack the central bank, and they infect the body politic like a parasite,” he further states “what we need to do…is remove these people, once-and-for-all, from our country.”

TheJ.Ca will continue to follow this developing story as it unfolds.

Thank you for choosing TheJ.Ca as your source for Canadian Jewish News.

We do news differently!

Our positioning as a Zionist News Media platform sets us apart from the rest. While other Canadian Jewish media are advocating increasingly biased progressive political and social agendas, TheJ.Ca is providing more and more readers with a welcome alternative and an ideological home.

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your HELP!

Our ability to thrive and grow in 2020 and beyond depends on the generosity of committed readers and supporters like you.

Monthly support is a great way to help us sustain our operations. We greatly appreciate any contributions you can make to support Jewish Journalism.

We thank you for your ongoing support.
