With a dual win-win agenda, Na’amat Canada is embarking on a unique one week fundraising event to help connect online vendors with potential customers, and raise money for the charity work the organization provides.

“Shopping With A Purpose” will be taking place from July 12th – 18th in the form of a trade show hosted on the Na’amat Facebook page. “This initiative will provide a platform to help business people who aren’t able to do trade shows dues to the pandemic”, said Winnipeg chapter president Shirli East. The donation per virtual table is $36.00 which will subsidize underfunded programs.

“Na’amat in Israel has really suffered because of coronavirus. We plan on doing this monthly, limiting the entry to 15 vendors per event, with no competing vendors. The vendors and products range from Judaica, beauty products, self-published authors, yoga services, and other crafts and services.” East noted there are about 3 spots still available for this month’s inaugural event. Interested vendors can email her at shirli.east@naamat.com.

“It costs $36 to rent a ‘virtual table’ for the week and that includes one post per day in the Facebook group to promote your sale. A $72 donation boosts that to 3 promotional posts a day, and we are really hopeful this format is going to find an enthusiastic audience. I personally participated in a couple of events as a vendor and as a buyer. In June I was invited to participate in 30 different vendor events ranging from national arts councils doing art auctions to small town affairs.”

Thank you for choosing TheJ.Ca as your source for Canadian Jewish News.

We do news differently!

Our positioning as a Zionist News Media platform sets us apart from the rest. While other Canadian Jewish media are advocating increasingly biased progressive political and social agendas, TheJ.Ca is providing more and more readers with a welcome alternative and an ideological home.

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your HELP!

Our ability to thrive and grow in 2020 and beyond depends on the generosity of committed readers and supporters like you.

Monthly support is a great way to help us sustain our operations. We greatly appreciate any contributions you can make to support Jewish Journalism.

We thank you for your ongoing support.
